I need a bunch of parts to get my Z together so I'm thinking about buying a complete Z and selling the left overs.I found what appears to be an immaculate 99 Z50.What will be available is:The engine,wiring harness,coil,CDI,frame,upper forks,and the swing arm.If there is interest I will go buy it this weekend and strip it down.Let me know.

Now we're cookin' with gas.Yes I got your last PM.Let's say $70.00 shipped for the fork uppers and swing arm.Say $75.00ish for the frame.Engine,wiring harness,coil,and CDI any one?I have an email in to the seller to make sure it is still available,but I'm pretty sure it is.I'll let you know ASAP.

Oh and JonnyB,I can probably include the top triple.I have one that is the same color as my frame.So if they are all the same and I can use the bars off of the new bike on mine I won't be needing it.You may have seen it in another thread but this is what I'm working with.

Ya I saw that thread . Is that a (or) close to oem color red that you used ?? I need a rattle can type paint that's close to my 86 red .

To be honest I don't know.I bought it all freshly powder coated like that.I wouldn't be surprised if it is a matched color.The guy I bought it from has literally hundreds (maybe thousands) of Honda minis.Z's,ZB's,CRF's,XR's,that street legal 50,I forget the model right now.They were only available here for one year.It should be pretty nice when it's done.I just wish plastic was available in a color other than white.Black would contrast nicely I think.If the bike is still available I'll go buy it tomorrow if I can get enough cash out with my debit card.If not I'll go get it next week.The engine with all the goodies?How much you offering?Keep in mind that I've been around a while and have a good idea of what this stuff is worth.

I have a ton a china z stuff maybe you can pic this stuff up for dirt cheap from me and not have to buy a Z Just a though it is just sitting here collecting dust.

Not a bad idea,but I've priced the Chinese stuff and it would cost me a LOT more and it wouldn't be real Honda parts.I found that any way I slice it,it will be cheaper to buy a complete Z50R and use the parts I need,then sell the ones I don't.I appreciate the offer though.I'll probably be buying the Z50R tomorrow.My only competition is me.Don't ask....

I will also consider trades since I want to do up the suspension in the future.Like maybe a +2 or +4 aluminum swing arm and some big ass shocks for the engine,wiring harness,coil,and CDI.Just food for thought.

Well I went and picked up the donor bike and it is very clean.All original,runs perfect.Even the tires are original.Clearly not ridden much at all,much less abused.I'll bring it to work tomorrow and if it's not too busy I'll strip it down.
