FS in CT! 1972 Z50 with fresh motor.

I bought this bike last winter, never got around to fixing it up like I wanted. It was going to be a bike for my friends kids to learn how to ride on as well as some of my friends. I fixed it up enough my buddies could ride it and decided to rebuild the motor. I went with a Dr. ATV piston kit, and all Honda OEM gaskets. The jug is from a CRF50 with low hours. THIS MOTOR HAS NO TIME ON IT. I put Z50R bars on it and put the seat on the lower setting so that it would be easiest for a child to ride. The tank has the side pushed in but any paintless dent removal company can remove it no problem since there is no crease. The seat has a very small tear in the rear. I have a decent set of fenders that will go along with what you see on the bike. I have a set of good pegs with one rubber missing and the kickstand removed. I will also include the stock shifter and the ignition cover. The only thing really missing from this bike would be lights and side cover. I am including the stock bars as well as the bars on this bike. I will even throw in a set of Z50R upper fork tubes in good shape. I will throw in a set of '72 grips and the correct '72 air filter. I spent a good amount of money buying the correct parts for this bike. I have tons of parts for this bike and I will take another picture with some more of the parts on the bike. My plans were going to be to change the upper fork tubes, delrin bushings, repo seat cover and an ebay side cover. It really doesn't need much to make a great pit bike. I would just like to get some of my money back out of this bike since I have almost 10 bikes right now. Asking $500 OBO.

When the engine was being rebuilt:

Pretty much together:

Re: FS in CT! 1972 Z50 with fresh motor.

I got a '78 frame, swinger, tank(that needs por15), a very bent seat, good folding bars, '97 forks, and a set of wheels missing hubs i think. I the motor could be salvaged if you bought a new clutch, cylinder, piston, and refreshed everything else. I was going to cut the frame to pieces and make an extended frame out of it. Tank has very few dents and no visible rust on the outside.

I actually went to VT to pickup 3 bikes and got as raped for them. I got there and the bikes were way more hurt than I thought they were, but since I already spent the gas to get there I bought them anyways. I made the whole trip and bought two spare bikes because he had a gold one I thought was restorable. :/ I want to buy my buddies XR50 so any money towards it would be awesome. I really have to finish my ZB50 too. LOL.

Re: FS in CT! 1972 Z50 with fresh motor.

Here is the '78 I would be willing to sell. I would like to see $200, but I am always open to offers or trades. I have a huge list of parts I need, and I am a sucker for more bikes even though I have no room for any more bikes. lol. The bike needs a motor, rear hub, brake side fork leg, and a good amount of work. I am pretty sure I have shocks for the bike.
