| Takegawa Digital Speedo and Kitaco rearsets
Hey all, I still have these 2 items left from my sell-off last summer here. Got to looking into my closet and found them; never used them on the mini motards so they're up for sale again. First is the Takegawa Digital speedo w/ tachometer. Pretty sweet. Was asking $250, but I'll take $205 shipped. Next is the Kitaco polished billet rear sets that are sweet too. Did I mention they are coated in chocolate??! Was asking $175; now I'll take $125 shipped. Email for pics if interested. Thanks! UPDATE: this is the style of frame the rear sets will fit. This frame is not for sale! Last edited by jimmyjammoto; 03-26-2008 at 03:38 PM. Reason: pics added |

I'll ship to Australia, but you'd have to pick up the tab for shipping from Japan to AUS. I am not sure how much it would be though..

You would need an NSR speedo drive or a full ape front wheel and brakes. If you wanna run drum brakes in the front I have a full setup from the APE....

Toby i am pretty sure it won't work due to the differences in tire/rim size.

Toby, All Honda motorcycles can use the same speedometer as they use the same calibration. As long as you use the OEM speedo drive that came with the bike for the stock size tires, it will work with no issue. In summary - If you have 18" wheels and are using the OEM speedo drive for those 18" wheels, the speedometer will work. Add to the fact that you can tweak the settings on these speedometers for different tire sizes, I don't see any reason why you would run into any problems. Example - You have a Z50 and want to run NSR50 wheels. If you run OEM NSR50 tire sizes and use the NSR50 speedo drive, the speedo will be dead on with no adjustments. If you decide to go with a larger 12" tire in the front, you can go through the calculation in the speedo instructions to compensate for the larger tire and the speedometer will still be dead on. Just make sure you run a 12V battery with this speedometer or it won't work. You can't run it off the stator as it will go haywire and this setup needs a good battery. |
