My Mood: | trx70 4 speed
I have a complete trx70 4 speed transmission with shift drum and shift forks. I also have a parts trx70 tranny that is missing 2 gears (i think it was second gear from both shafts). I am open to offers, I don't have any clue as to what these are going for now. my email address xfrstunna@yahoo.com |

I'm interested in the 4 speed. I have a CT70 motor that's got a broken tranny and is stuck in 3rd gear. How much shipped to 94550? |

I'm pretty sure the trx tranny will only work in trx cases

They drop into a crf50 bottom end and match up to the kick starter and everything. I had a stock motor apart and dropped it in to try it and everything fit. I was going to put it into my 108 but I sold the bike before I had the chance

I've got a TRX70 tranny and an '05 CRF50 bottom end on the work bench right now. The 70 trans (mainshaft cluster, countershaft cluster, and shift drum assy) is a straight drop in. First gear is identical on the 3-speed and the 4-speed (36:11) so the CRF kick starter shaft assembly will mate properly with the TRX trans. Great upgrade, and worth the $$ for original Honda parts. (I've got three 4-speeds in boxes right now, otherwise, . . . ) -kevin | |

So it's not a drop-in for a 6V CT70 motor then?

Yes, it will work in the CT70 lower end as long as you have the 22T pinion gear on the kickstarter spindle. The CT70H model with the factory 4-speed has a 24T pinion gear, and is only compatible with the CT70H trans.
