One just sold on Egay.If I'd seen this sooner I would have let you know.It was a factory Honda frame.I almost bid on it myself.I've been told you can get an MSO for any Honda frame from a Honda dealer.I don't know that's true as I have never tried, but you might want to look into it...

You all do realize that None on of the Z50's were ever street legal from the factory, right? Especially the 1979-1999 models. If you buy a replacement frame from Honda, they come without a VIN.

| Re: WTB: 50 frame with title It means if he wants a Honda softtail frame, a cerficate of origin/MSO isn't going to do any good and he'll have to either purchase a Panda or lifan that can be titled, or get a used frame that someone jumped through hoops to get a title for.

Or use the MSO to jump it through the hoops himself.

I would say a panda would be the best way to go, not only the cheapest but the easyiest.

| Re: WTB: 50 frame with title You'll only get the MSO if the bike is new. The Z50 as you are aware, is no longer produced, and if you get a replacement frame from Honda, they do not come with a VIN. Please enlighten me in this area on how you are going to get an MSO for a Z50 frame from a dealer. I could be completely missing something here, so fill me in...

I purchased my 99 frame and MSO on eBay. You just have to ask the seller if he has the original paperwork and see what he or she says. It was time consuming, but it worked out! Took me about a year. ha I also have clean papers for a 73, but it won't pass inspection here due to the short VIN. |
