Ya, I know the feeling. I am looking for a rear chain guide for my Z50r, they are discontinued from Honda. Was outbid last night on Ebay by 50 cents.

For those of you who need obsolete parts, I'd be using auctionstealer or another type of snipe software. Big your absolute max and forget about it.

There is absolutely no reason to bid on anything prior to the last 10 seconds of the auction. Bidding before the last 10 seconds is only driving up the price.

How does it work? I have heard about it but not used it myself. Does it jam a bid in at the last second?

Which chain guard is it?

Is it the original top or bottom?

If its the metal bottom gaurd I got the last one in stock in oz!!!! It was in a small store in Tasmania!

The top plastic guard may still be available in some stores here????

Re: Z50 83 wanted left hand number plate stay

Looking for the lower one that goes on the bottom, rear. It is discontinued, but I think it was only like $15 new when it was available. All I see is used crap on Ebay, and they want as much as it was new. Thinking of fitting a BBR style to it and be done with it.

Re: Z50 83 wanted left hand number plate stay

Good call on the chain guard, looks like the part number changed in 1987, but remains the same all the way to 1999. Retails for a few bucks more, but well worth it ,as the exact year I need is no longer available. Looks exactly the same as the discontinued part in micro-fish pic. As far as I can tell, I believe it comes in Matte Black. If not I can always paint it.

Thanks again, Gary
