| Baja designs wiring help
Can some of you who has installed the Baja Designs Harness provide an instruction of the wiring? I just go the harnesses but have no idea where some of the connections should go. Thanks. |

Into the Headlight you have your clam shell and harness. In the middle of the harness you have your 2 stator inputs, and your brake light switch. In the back of the harness you plug in your tail light setup. The 2 butt connectors coming out of the clam shell are for your kill switch. What did you need to know? Did you think to download instructions from the Baja Designs website? |

Well I didn't purchase the complete kit as I have OEM headlights, signals and taillight. I bought: 1. front harness 2. mid harness 3. rear harness 4. switch ass. 5. battery 6. rectifier 7. horn 8. flasher unit 9. brake switch I believe I have all the parts. Now let me be more specific about my connections: 1. From the stator, there are 3 wires, the green wire goes to the spark coil, and then there is the yellow and white wire, where do these goes into the harness? 2. where does the wire (with the fuse) from the rectifier goes into the harness? 3. there is 5 wires out of the rectifier: 1 red, 1 black - I'm positive these goes to the battery, and then there are 2 yellow, 1 double black, where do these goes into the harness? Thanks, eric |

hmmmm....... As for my 04 NSR, the yellow wire is what is used to power my Baja Designs electrical circuit.....all my lighting and battery source. PM Fourdoor. He has a Pre-04 NSR street bike. He may be able to help you sort out your electrical from the motor to the harness and rectifier/regualor. In case you didn't know.....the rectifier/regulator converts the AC power from motor to DC, which you turn signals, indicator and brake light uses. Headlamp and tail lamp (IIR) uses AC power.......if it is wired anything alike the YSR. |

Do you have access to the owner's manual? You will see the wiring diagram there. Also check out the wiring diagram in Baja's website. The photos I took tells you which wire connect to which on the stator. | |
