My Mood:  | carbon fiber race plate + fender
shawn was nice enough to give me a free carbon fiber race plate, i like it, i think it gives the bike a bit of originality compared to the other race plate. came out nice, here are the pics, when installed on bike, I will add some more.   |

Does he vacuum bag? There are a few common causes for pin holes. I've touched that problem a few times. I don't want to shoot any of my parts with clear to touch them up though but merely to protect from sun fade.

I personally bought several carbon fiber parts from Shawn at BMS. all i can say is that he does nothing but top quality parts. Here are a few parts that he has done for me.  shawn put a light speed brand carbon fiber lower belly pan on his 125 and man that thing was beat up.... once they clear coated the belly pan you should have seen all of those pin holes, and that's from a major manufacture If any one has any questions on his carbon fiber process, i would be happy to ask him. Yea post up his process and maybe I can help brainstorm a few solutions for the pinholes. We can also try to isolate whether the pin holes originate from air trapped in the cloth or in the resin.
