I've been roadracing 600's and 1000's for a few years. My 8 year old son has been racing Supermoto on a Pitster for 3 years and I've been on the lookout for a mini GP for him. I traded out for a YSR but it was a basket case. I ended up trading that off for 2 sets of Boppers for the SM bikes.

Buddy of mine called me the other day with an offer to sell me his NSR. Brand new, never ridden. $1500 I almost bought this bike at the Dealership 2 years ago for 3900. They gave it away last year in a raffle and my buddy won it and just put it in his garage.

Needless to say I jumped on it.

I'll pick it up this week and start painting it. I paint bikes so thats just a pet peave of mine.

So I'm sure I'll be asking all kinds of questions and asking for help. Bear with me!

Anything I should know right off the bat?

Nope. These things are pretty much bullet proof. You obviously know about bikes so you should not have any problems.
