My pipe came today

Libra-Pro race chamber with carbon silencer.I am going to send the chamber out to be coated with Jet-Hot Sterling JET-HOT Coatings Header Coatings Page because these race pipes tend to get s----y looking. It will look nice with that almost polished aluminium look finish. Now all i am waiting for are my Malossi VL-5 reed valve, kick start parts and 46.3mm piston(I am thinking of this also Why Coat a 2 Cycle Piston by Swain Tech for Automotive Coatings including engine piston coatings, ceramic coating services engine, automotive ceramic coating, ceramic header coating, dry film lubricant, race engine coatings, exhaust header coating ) and a few other knick knacks..........

wow nice, thumbs up on the coating ,i was thinking about doing the same thing, but probably in black not silver, what was your estimate on that? if its high, I probably will not mind the shiny multi color it will turn. heh

how much HP are you shooting for with all those mods?

question, what kind of side view mirrors do you have john? anything nice, proportional looking to the bike? thanks

They dont turn multi/shiny they get crappy looking Rust etc.I would guess $150.00 to $200.00 for Jet-Hot but i didnt really ask. I have to take the pipe to Action Powdercoating in Farmingdale(A Jet-Hot dealer) at the end of the week and they will let me know. The side mirrors i got with the bike look like and may be the JDM honda mirrors but i am not sure.Mirrors on these bikes look big because the bike is small i am a little broad shouldered and they are kinda useless.......

sounds cool, farmingdale is not the far from me, i use to chill with a girl that went to suny, and i use to go to crazy donkey down there almost every week. so i am familiar with the area. let me know the price, i think something around the $100 range sounds good.

i was wondering about the mirrors, know a good place to get the mirrors? one of my mirrors broke, i know what you are saying about them being useless, head checks FTW, my shoulders are broad too, but sometimes when placed just right i can see behind me.

It is surely more than $100.00 thats what a pair of sneakers costs......As far as horsepower off the top of my head 15 Whp with a decent powerband would be nice i think i would be dissapointed with much less. Also i am debating running a mixture of pump93.5 and race gas 110 Octane baby!! as a station in malverne sells CAM2 or i can buy a 5 gallon keg at S&K speed in Rockville Centre

Re: My pipe came today

Picked it up from Action Powdercoating today http://www.actionpowdercoat.com/welc...dercoating.htm (a Jet-Hot Dealer) and it looks awesome it was $200.00 partially because they had to remove the clearcoat from the chamber before they could apply the Jet-Hot Sterling http://www.jet-hot.com/headercoatings.html its going to make a huge difference in the appearance of the bike.............I will post pics later this week...........
