newbie, with 2004 NSR50

Hello everyone

my name is sami. I am proud new owner of 2004 NSR 50. I can not believe i feel in love with this bike , I have rode and owned just about every type of bike out there , but this little bike makes me smile. it handle like a dream and i think it will teach me how to become a better rider over all. i am located in miami florida and i will be hitting the opa locka track ASAP. I just can not figure when they do the track days, i was told every sat night but that did not happen. anyway, i just wanted to say hello.

I need couple of questions

1- what is the best engine mod, i read about the xr100 but i was wondering what is the best years for the swap/

2- i was planning on fitting a 600RR mastercylinder and install pazzo levers, but i was told it would not be a good idea with the stock calipers, what are the best calipers to fit the stock forks. ( i was also told about the adapter kit) if i install a bermbo caliper would i be able to run 600RR mastercylinder.

3- i measure the rearset and i am going to alter an attack rearset of 2005 zx636 to make them fit.

4- I need to work my forks and shock. as i am too heavie for the bike what is the best rearshock spring to install. can i alter the spring from a different bike to make it fit

i am getting to know these bike so please forgive me if i am asking too many questions, please if there is any local riders, call me at 305-8seven9-5seven40. i would like to meet local riders and hit the track with them

thanks

Re: newbie, with 2004 NSR50

I have the CRG Roll-a-Clicks with a Brembo 4-Pot Caliper and the Stock Master Cylinder with a Hurricane Billet cover,I think as far as levers go the CRG's are the best ditto the Brembos i have a 250mm front rotor but you can get a bracket to mount a Brembo using the stock rotor 220mm as far as some of your other questions i am not really sure.......
