Re: Rear Sets which ones?

Well here is the rub Virtually all the rear sets that come sans brake pedal are listed as interchangeable between the NSF and NSR but of the ones WITH the brake pedal only the ZERO and SHIFT-UP are listed as for both the NSF and NSR,The TTS and AGRAS are listed for the NSF only......Now the mounting points on both bikes are the same as are the stock brake pedals the master cylinders are different part# but from the pics are only marginally different,I think it might have to do with some of the adjustable NSF designed rearsets conflicting with the exhaust pipe on the NSR but who knows? My SHIFT-UP RCV fender was listed as for an NSF100 but fits on my NSR fine....I need to do some more research.......I really would like to go with the TTS GP.

Personality?

Re: Rear Sets which ones?

I personaly like the looks of the first set, the guards are subtle yet racy looking. The last set has a funny looking wing shaped guard that looks kind of gey IMO. Ther kind of like fairy wings.

Man.... don't go cheaping out on us and for sure not gold, always seems tacky IMO like gold faucets in those "bling" homes!!

I'm a fan of the TT-S ones myself so been happy using their kit the last 10 years, don't know if you've been to their machine shop but the majority of the stuff they make is for many of the big name companies!

Those Sato racing ones look awesome.......except their gold!!!! YUCK!!

The only full rearsets that are certain fits for the NSR50/80 are cheap ones, Shift-Up and Racing Sports Zero arent G-Craft and Over Racing,I am not going to take a chance that $500.00-$600.00 rearsets(Agras/TTS) arent going to fit..........If i was cheaping out i wouldnt be running a Autoboy Highpower 72cc Kit with a Takegawa 6-Speed Close Ratio Transmission......

No worries I'll let you know how they fit, I'm going for them personally as I've never been too worried whether stuff bolts on or not as it's always possible to machine and adapt. I'd be very surprised if it couldn't be done.

.....just digging at ya.....

.....though if you're going to be spending bucks I think a CR85 engine with Rick Peterson big bore would be the way to go, trust me that little NSR would be a rocket ship!!

CR85=Vibration,Also i am not looking to get killed, Minis get squirelly at high speed regardless of the suspension,Even with an Ohlins and RS125 Forks,Taper Bearings,Damper Balanced wheels..........They are inherently design flawed for high speed....Just werent in tended for it..........

I'm sure Mick Doohan never let a little vibration get to him......besides that's why Loctite was invented!!

That's part of the fun, so you can pretend to be Wayne Gardner sliding around.

Yeah I know what you mean though, borrowed a YSR with a YZ80 engine, very skitterish as was mine with the CR80 powerplant. But what I lost out to the Derbi's on the corners I more than made up for on the straights!!
