You know that nut on top of the top triple bridge? The shiny chrome one? This is for the NSR50, 2004.

What size socket do you use to loosen and tighten that nut?

The service manual gives the thread diameter and torque value, but not the nut head's size, which is what I need in order to figure out what size socket to buy.

Need to replace some clip ons and that nut has to go.

Its actually a 29mm but a 30mm will work just fine.

Thanks Johnson. I found that 1 and 1/8" standard size actually works even better. Fits perfectly compared to 29mm or 30mm which have a lot of slack.
