YXR Front Motor Mounts

Does anyone know where I can purchase the front motor mounts for a YSR ,XR100 conversion? Or anyone fabricate these for me to save me some time with my build? If someone has a template that would work too. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Re: YXR Front Motor Mounts

I have seen people on here fabricate a mount that secures the xr100 motor at two points to the frame. I am looking to duplicate this, but will most likely have to make them myself if no one has a template.

If I had a YSR frame to mess with, I would make them also.. but for now all I make are brackets for the NSR.
From the ones I've seen in our club, I believe the guys are only using the one hole and has held up fine. Good luck

How thick of steel do you recommend to use for the brackets? What have you been using for the NSR? I am only going to use the single front hole for the mount. Thanks

Re: YXR Front Motor Mounts

I use 1/4" Alum for my stuff.

I took a closer look at the YXR this weekend and it has a XR80 front down tube welded to the stock YSR one... works great.. then the upper rear bolts right to the YSR stock motor mounts and the bottom ones do not need to be mounted.
