124SE Catastrophic Failure

yesterday I had a little problem with my 124SE ;Ti exhaust valve head broke off....











time to rebuild! I'm thinking of putting the Takegawa +R head on this time. what do you guys think? its going on my full mod CRF70.

i had a +R124 when they first came out, they are super nice you wont be dissapointed.
they do you think the valve broke, was it worn or jetting off so it got too hot?

I think it ran too hot...maybe related to oil being overfilled + the motor was getting up there in age

yeah the bottom end is good to go, once i clean out all the shrapnel.

I've heard the take valves are a lot beefier which is why I wanna try the +r head
