spend the money on a used sv650......the ninja is plenty fun, it will make you grin ear to ear and knee down passes against the big boys are great to do, but......the lack of power gets old real quick.

yeah, i'm no stranger to high HP street bikes. i have built and owned at least 10 gsxr/ninja bikes but now i have a family and am just looking for a gas saving deal as my truck is 100+ to fill every two weeks. i consider myself lucky to be alive after all the stupid **** i have done in the past-as far as street bikes go.

Yeah I was going to recomend a used Husky motard like mine but you said you wanted to be safe LOL. and you can't help but to get stupid on the StreetTards. I saw the x4s that Dom changed over for sam and brent they looked great. I am ordering one up this week and its going on the street if your in no hurry I will let you take it for a spin when they get here.

Sweet little bikes. The engine's been around a long time. I'm not big on the plastic body, and prefer a SV or even an old HawkGT. Somebody's gotta keep the dealerships going though I'm plating my Xtreme right now. We'll see how a YX holds up on the big concrete dyno... Shopping for a super cheap 400-500 street ride to save on gas too.

I LOVED those 400's! If the 1100 was as sexy, I'd own one. I always hoped for an up-sized HawkGT too, not the oddball they built. The little bikes seem to be the coolest. Damn all these straight roads, and being Waren Sapp sized

my first bike (ever) was a 2000 ninja 250. Rode the hell out of it, so much fun! The 2008's look sweet. BTW - motor is revised and not the same as previous year powerplants. I had a drz400 with SM wheels -- it was fun but heavy and slow, and not very good in the dirt. Husky supermotos are --craaaazy-- fun
