| 50 or 110?
Hey guys im sure you all can help me out with this one. i have a ttr50 right now that the gears have broke twice in it. we are in the process of getting it fixed. anyone know what would cause them gears in the tranny to break off? ..but anyways, my brother told me once we get it fixed i should sell it and buy a 110. you think a 110 is better/funner than a 50?

Depends on what you ride Personally I feel that the 50 is a good bmx dirt jump style. I had one and unless you throw big money at the suspenders they can ride a little harsh. But they are way fun man. Great little beaters A 110 is a good bigger bike. With just some minor suspension mods the bike can do fairly well. Not pefect but better than a stock mod 50. The riding style is more of a big bike style though so it can be a very good crossover for someone who rides big bikes. Personally I would have a stock mod 110 for a playbike and a full mod 50 for a race bike. I used to race BMX and feel that I can ride a 50 smoother over certain obstacles where as I would only want to race a full mod 110. I know I went way off but basically buy what you feel fits you. Gonna trail ride it and play/ race it get a 110. For all else go 50 Justin |

yeah thanks jbird. i dont do any racing with them, just play around the yard with little jumps and very little track. but my friend is in the process of making a pitbike track. so i will be jumping more here shortly...do you think buying suspension and not riding as hard help keep them gears from breaking like they have been?

ive had a tt-r 50 and a drz110 both stock/mods and to be honest i loved them both the 50 was fun to wheelie and rip around the street and the back yard track but big tracks it sucked and i couldnt hit kickers because the landing was rough on the stock suspension ...the 110, was sick for rippin around the more open spots with bigger jumps or kickers and it was fun on the back yard track as well as the big tracks but it was tough to wheelie at first cuz i was so used to the 50 but once you get used to it its just as easy and you can buy wayyy more **** for it
