We have a lot of exciting things happening at WIR!
1. New whoops and a fresh section before the finish line will greet all the riders who race or practice this weekend. The cold snap is moving out so it should not be that cold.
2. 2009 Monster KLX110 Raffle - We have teamed up with Open Air Powersports to raffle off a new Monster Energy KLX110. Raffle tickets are only $10 each and can be purchased at WIR.
3. The December 26 Super Sponsor Race is shaping up to be a classic. We are featuring a "Put Up or Shut Up" Pit Bike race with a $1000 purse. This class will be separate from our regular points paying class. Entry fee for this class will be $50. Payouts are: $500 for 1st, $250 for 2nd, $125 for 3rd, $75 for 4th & $50 for 5th. If you think you are fast on a pit bike, put up your money & let's race. If you don't have a pit bike come out and watch the fun. When full size people get on small bikes and race for serious cash anything can happen!
4. 4 foot tall 1st place trophies for all 50cc and 65cc classes on December 26. One of our sponsors, Midwest Performance MX is kicking out these trophies for this special event.
5. Super Sponsor list - We have mentioned Open Air Powersports & Midwest Performance MX, but there are many others stepping up to make this event happen. MX Websites, Eric Gorr's Forward Motion, Club 57 MX Schools, Motosports Park in Byron, and our favorite graphics maker Decal Works are all pitching together to provide free stuff along with other special priced merchandise for the Super Sponsor Race.
6. Keep checking our website, www.wirmx.com in the Race Schedule section for updates as we add more sponsors. During the 2 holiday weeks we are changing our hours to accommodate your free time. All the holiday hours are in the Riding Hours section of the website.
