Just dug out my first bike: 1972 arctic cat ramrod

Bought this for $80 when i was 9. Still in pretty damn good shape considering what i put it through. Finding info on these is pretty spotty. From what I understand it has a 100cc kawi engine in it. Could use a new carb, but it's not a bolt on flange, it uses a pinch bolt onto a round intake manifold pipe.

Yeah it's sweet. Still runs too but needs a new carb. I've managed to keep it in the basement for 23 yrs now. Added a couple pics.

Its in real nice shape. If its running a Kawi motor. Just order up the carb from Kawi.

That reminds me of the 1969 Maverick III I had when I was a kid. Traded a cheap paintball gun from walmart for it.lol

I never knew Arctic Cat made anything like this! It's awesome. I bet finding parts for it is next to impossible, though.

Is it a Kawi engine or a Suzuki engine? Arctic Cat and Suzuki had (and may still have) a very close relationship. The Arctic Cat snowmobiles used Suzuki engines for the longest time.

Is it a 2 stroke or 4 stroke?
