My Mood: | **My K-LXR build so far**
Here's a few crappy cell pictures of my K-LXR build..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 05 KLX 110 engine with these mods: -TB 143 -TB V2 head ported with Takegawa S25 decomp cam -TB manual clutch cover -TB 4th gear shift drum -Takegawa 6 disc clutch, primary gear, and output shaft -CHP billet 2nd gear and shift star -VM26 carb with a TB intake (Soon to be a PWK2 -BBR U-flow with K&N filter and outer cover -Two Bros bump start, dress up kit and shifter -Red Barron skid plate **modded to fit properly** 09 Pitster Pro LXR 14/12 roller with KLX mounts and these mods: -modded motor mounts and frame to move engine back a little and reinforce the shock mount. Tire doesn't hit the lower valve cover now! -VINCO SHOWA -ReegMX front hub with an Excel wheel and Bucanon spokes -Grimica 6 piston front caliper W Galfar wave rotor. Stops on a dime and its light as hell! **Thanks to Minirider54 for the deal on this fork setup!** -Pitster Pro black LXR plastic kit with Acerbis black CRF150 fork guards -MAGIKSC Kustoms Hotwheels graphics and # plates made to look like the old X4 I built. **Thanks a million Tyler, your the man!** -Tag metals mini bend fat bars with ASV C5 shorty clutch lever, and Wirtz throttle I still want to add a few more things to it like a Takegawa clutch cover and close ratio 4 speed trans, Doma or ??? exhaust, a Fox shock and have the forks and shock tuned by Odi at Feal suspension. Also this winter while the bike is apart I'm going to have the rear hub assembly anodized red, to match the Reeg front hub, and lace up a black Excel wheel to match the front. Some STR colored brake and oil lines, along with their YZF250 rear master cyl. mount. So far the chassis and engine have been flawless! I ride it 1 or 2 times a week on a 1 mile big bike MX track and haven't had any failures. It handles like no other pitbike I have ever ridden and makes it waaaay easy to ride faster than I ever thought I'd go on one of these. I've suprised a few guys on 250f's at the track So what do you guys think? Last edited by FASTFREAK693; 10-20-2009 at 07:45 PM. |

That bike is incredible. I had the same U-Flow set up as you but decided to tone down the bulk and just bolted the k&n straight on the carb. That bike would look awesome with a gripper seat cover BTW.

Thanks alot! The U-flow keeps the filter way cleaner than a forward facing one. Only drawback is I had to cut the front fender pretty short to clear it. I was thinking about a seat cover from PAX but im undecided on the color. Black or Black sides with a YZ Blue center or maybe an all Red one like the TGR bike? | |
