New pitbike event

Well guys, We'd like to run another event and see if we can't inject a little more life into this sport. Question is, what would YOU guys like to see?

race?

BIG $$$ race?

practice day?

Amateur national style event, 2 days?

offroad race?

freestyle show and open practice?

............. what do you think would be THE most fun, and BTW, it'd be held up here in the Pacific NW.

Re: New pitbike event

I know me and a bunch of my friends would be interested in attending. Keep updates posted on here and I will let them know if, when and where something happens.

Re: New pitbike event

it would be pretty fun if you guys held like this big pacific raceways event. like at the state of the art sumo track. or if you could convince them to let us use the motorcross track

Re: New pitbike event

I think what would be the most fun is have an event in ventura or santa barbara.......Maybe a big track with a saturday and friday practice day then race sunday morning. But the track has many options and jumps, but isnt just a mini sx track. Like an advanced motocross track for minis.

bigger jumps and more difficult tracks that make it entertaining for the fans so that they get into it.

Re: New pitbike event

i wouldntbe attending considering im like 3000 miles away but a national style track would be sick. have some realy fast straights and big jumps. SX is fun but a change in pace would be better.

I heard that they got rid of the MX track because the show Pinks paid them a s*%tload of money? Is that true?

no, its cause the owners sold it to phantom z atv, messed tyhe track up so bad for motorcycles, that they were losing money. so they shut it down, an d are turning it into the drag strip turn around, that for pinks.

i think that it should be a real true mx track. just go as fast as you can, without all the timing crap, sure a couple jumps. but look at all major sucessful ama motorcross tracks...

Re: New pitbike event

For all you guys saying it should be a "national style" track...go look at the helmet cam video from the Mountain View race JJW put on last month -> Fourstroke.net - Video - moto/mountain_view/mountain_view_3. You shoulda been there...

Re: New pitbike event

2 day event... but with a TWIST. i think this would be a BA (badacs) idea

first day have a normal race format.. 2 moto kinda thing
second day have like a offroad enduro almost kinda race. i know there are lots of trees and stuff up there, so im sure you guys could make something sick. but maybe like a 15 min moto through trees and stuff, nothing too tough on minis, but still fun.

the results for the overall is from both events. i think those are the most fun.

you gotta wait until i can ride again tho. that's the only rule i got :P

Re: New pitbike event

how about moving it towards the center of the country... that way some of the fastest guys in the country(obviously not me) could go.. let the guys on the left coast travel for a change...

Money will get the big names there but time on the track will get more people there.. just think how many more people would show up to vegas if you didn't pay a **** ton of money for roughly 20 laps.. Big knarley tracks are a must!!!

The 2 most fun nationals are the chp texas nationals and the 2up east coast nationals.. you get alot of track time, its almost like a 2 day event with all the practice time you can get. it is an awsome atmisphere to hang out and get to ride with both friends and people that have made the trip from far away.

Both are just straight up good times.

Big knarley tracks are a must!!! 2ft deep whoops seperate the men from the boys..
