| Night Rider Super Quiet Exhaust Mod
So I recently bought this Suzuki DS80. It has a headlight. So I wanted to test it out. But I can only test at night. But at night, everybody is asleep so I need to be quiet. But this bike isn't quiet enough. Well, this is what I came up with: A rag folded in half twice and zip tied to the end of the exhaust makes it super quiet. Amazingly, exhaust can still flow through the cloth. It's so quiet I can hear the chain running over the sprockets and the air rushing into the airbox. And after 15 minutes of night riding, it didn't catch on fire. It stumbles a bit in the high revs but I don't go up there too much when I'm trying to be quiet anyway. I'm very happy with this awesome mod. |

Great idea! For the honda 50 riders I shove a briggs and stratton muffler in the end of my exhaust when I need to be SUPER quiet. Get one at home depot!

steel wool works great with a coat hanger in the end of the pipe. Super Stealth Mode. Gets pretty hot tho. I gotta try the briggs muffler. Got a picture of what one you use? |
