TGR Pitster Getting fitted with YZ250f Rear Master cylinder

Here is the begining of the project of putting the YZ250F Integrated Nissin Mastercylinder on the Pitster LXR rear brakes. The project is allmost done just need to paint the bracket tomorrow (Black) and then screw the master cylinder into the bracket I made for it. Then just bleed the brakes and I bet these brakes are going to be so sick with really good feel.

Here is a couple pics:

That was done when Tim did all the colored lines,, I didn't have the adapter fitting to get the pitster front master to work at first but the brake line company ordered some up later but thought it was a perfect time to change the master out to a Nissin.

Here is a picture of the front master: (Sorry about the dirty grip Tim! )

Tim mentioned this setup. Looks amazing, and truly a great upgrade.

Are you using a different clevis? or is the stock fitting with your bracket?

It uses the stock Pitster Clevis with no modifications,, just take off the YZ clevis and then screw the pitster clevis into the threaded end of the master cylinders plunger rod.

Don't do it, you won't like it! the honda rear mastercylinders are the worst rear master on the market IMO,, I have one on my CRF70 and they are touchy as hell, the best one by far is the YZ250f rear master (Integrated like picture above)

Did you ever notice on the Vegas Ryan Beat bikes we take this same YZ master for our KX65 rear brakes? It is the best, most progressive rear master out of all the different mastercylinders you can use!

You don't need brakes unless you're going to fall.

That is what makes what I am saying about the new Pitster LXR's so Credible,, they have come a long way and now the aftermarket companies like Takagawa are making parts for them to get rid of the parts that make the china bikes less to be desired. Don't get me wrong the china bikes still have flaws but I feel you can correct there mistakes now, unlike before.
