What to do to my track?

Hi this is my little pitbike track right now it has a 25ft table, right turn, straight, right turn, straight, left turn, straight, and 2 more right turns then you hit the table. I am wonder what i can do to make this a really sweet track, like add turns or make whoops something. I own a bobcat and i could probally get a dozer. But i need dirt and lots of it. So i am also wondering how much a dump truck load of topsoil or something. I am tight on money so i don't really want to spend a but load of cash.

Lol just dig a big hole and use that dirt to build jumps and etc. Than some how use the hole as part of the track. IMO dirt does cost alot and it takes usually a few years for one to get enough dirt to make a nice track.. But hey lol I like the hole idea haha..

ask around contruction sites, dug up yards, ask anyone u see with dirt if they're trying to get rid of it you can score a lot of free dirt it helps to have a dump tho cuz people wanna get rid of it and if you can come get it, its yours

hell yah thats what we did for my big bike track back in MO , we dug the hole ( 15ft pond) in the center of the track an got a water pump and 100ft of hose to water the track, and then you build a double over the pond

Here's my 50 track. It's an ongoing project. Pretty mild because it's for my boys (7 on a ttr50 and 3yo on a pw50 with trainers).

That long stretch in the back is about 300ft. and along the left is just shy of 200ft. Pretty fun little track with the tight turns in the middle.

What they said. Just try to use your own dirt for now. You may dig 2 holes with some space in between, load all the dirt there and build a step-up to step-down combination. They are pretty safe jumps and lots of fun.

Dig down before the jump and after then the jump will be taller but only half the size. Takes lot's of dirt! Scrap out to the berms, look for free dirt. My buddy has had around 50 truck loads dropped off for his track.

The only problem with digging down before and after the jump or in front of a berm is you end up with big mud holes when you water it down or when it rains.

Re: What to do to my track?

careful using the holes as jumps themselves...takes them forever to dry out after a rain

Yeah definately think about how water is gonna flow during heavy rains. It took me a while to get my track set-up so it would not hold water and be rideable shortly after a good storm.

Re: What to do to my track?

dig a hug whole in the middle of the track, dont use the hole itself as a jump, but as a pond for all the water to drain in. it double as a swimming hole in the summer when its 100 degrees and your sweating your nuts off in full gear. also, for table tops, instead of using all dirt, build some culvert pipe into them so you have even better drainage and use less dirt. Rain kills tracks, you have to know how to beat it. if you have any natural hills, use them for your stepups.

Re: What to do to my track?

Craigs list in my area has people willing to deliver free fill dirt, some have anywhere between 100-500 tons! Some people charge a few cents per mile for delivery and that's it, some it is free but you have to go pick it up. FILL DIRT!
