| 2006 Sachs Madass with TB88 Kit
The more I think about this bike and keeping it, the more I think I should have something vintage instead...I love my vintage stuff. So, I have this 2006 Sachs Madass bike. It is pretty much mint with 270miles one it..no scratches or dings or anything like that. Originally 49cc but has a brand new TB88 kit with racehead and carb 4-speed with manual transmission Aftermarket performance low pipe updated to 17 tooth front sprocket and 39t rear updated CDI and removed the 7500 rpm rev limiter Other than that, it is all original. I don't have the sprocket changes made yet, but when they are complete, I expect the bike to top out about 60-65 on the flat. I have the original paperwork in the title and owners manual. Also have a cover for it and the two original keys. Everything works as original except the choke lever on the bars because it was disconnected when the new carb was put on it. What do you think? |

With the demand for 'fast' Madass 50's you shouldn't have any trouble getting rid of that bike, especially since it is basically new. I would price it like a new one, and take a loss on your big bore kit. Just a note: From my experience with madass upgrades, Your race head 88 kit will not pull a 16/39 sprocket combo. I doubt you will be able to get the engine to wind out with gearing that tall. I mean we use 16/39 on engine kits over 140cc, and they make loads more power and torque than a race head 88cc. Good luck with your sale. |
