| MMSX "Official" Sandbagging thread
Rather then muck up all the other threads here over the next couple of days, let's keep those clean for kudos for the riders who did well in Vegas regardless of class/level. The purpose of this thread is to isolate all the MMSX "Sandbagging" posts into this thread. Over the course of the next couple of weeks, you are going to have all the vendors, riders and members discussing the various results of their riders using this as marketing fodder to bolster their position within this marketplace. In my humble opinion, results are won by the people riding the bikes, and it makes no difference to me if they ride on an ABC bike or XYZ bike. Some of you may feel different and feel it's the bike who makes the rider. The truth lies somewhere in the middle. However, when "Pro" riders win in the Amateur classes, this proves nothing about the quality of the bikes, but rather how they were the best riders on the track at this specific event and could have won on a number of different brands. Pro riders racing in the AM classes is subjective and each rider/sponsor has their reason for doing so. Is it right? Is it wrong? Who knows as it's subjective. This is one of the most debated topics every year minimoto takes place. People can formulate their own opinion based upon their own personal experience and need not agree or disagree with my above assertions. Discuss amongst yourselves. |

the only sandbagging i saw was the pros running the 8 inch class I guess i will say it in this thread. I did not think either of the Bosch Brothers would podium in either of their am classes. but i am glad they proved me wrong! |

all in all thry event was great,i just hope they take notice and stop letting amt and pro's mix,i know its prob about the money cause they make so much more from people running 2 or 3 classes but its not right, have a guy win 12amt and place 14th in the pro main thats bull, let everybody have a swing at there classes, you win a title you should have to move and not look back..just my opion..

i know who you are talking about . its david. well minimoto gave him the option to defend his #1 plate in the 12in am class (he was the 08 winner). David did not sign into the am class becuase he wanted to he did because minimoto asked him to. as for the B bros . They races youth last year where else they gonna go?? jump in the mix with J -law and costella right off the bat? | |

That's all so dont blame segers from sandbagging. 2007 ama he started with problems . 2008 ama Good year no problems . 2009 Pro engine not good enough for pro class so not so good race and ama good race normaly he ditn't got the plans to race the ama class the reason why he drive in that class is because MMSX mailded hem .
