Re: new rule?

it is actually kinda cool. i am a EMT/firefighter so it looks like it helps alot with our end for medical care. it is a small air chamber that sits in the helmet and a small tube runs out. in the event of a crash the chamber can be pumped up and slides the helmet off with minimal impact to the spine. i was just woundering if we would have to use this for the minimoto or if it was for the big bike racers.

Re: new rule?

ama supercross and outdoors required it for the past 3 years now i think. It's the hats off device. Makes helmet removal easier by pushing from the inside by and air bladder so as not to move your neck around after a crash.

Is the minimoto requiring this??

I don't think its required at any big amateur stuff, so I don't think it will be at MiniMoto.
