Hi,
I'm Dario Lamura , the team manager of the Team Italia Mini MX Bucci Moto , the ITALIAN team of # 7 Mike Valade and 118 # Alexandre Barbosa.
We spend a lot of time and money to came racing in Vegas but a part of our effort was cut down during the race 12 expert by behavior of the BBR rider Jason Lawrence.
In Italy riders that do things like that are immediately disqualify during the race showing the black flag but the race director say to us at the end of the race that he did't see anything ..........
Another matter is that on the official results our riders are shown with another brand of bike instead of Bucci Moto ; we was gone more than one time to say this thing to the organization but since today nobody it is changed......
The race was great, we meet a lot of people interested in our team and our bike .
If same american company or rider want to race a race similar to minimoto sx in Europe we organize the minimoto internazionale in Verona next Gennary 2010 ( Mini MX Series Official Website)
See you the next year!

It is NOT a correct behavior.

I think that is clearly that JLaw was there only to ruin the contest at Barbosa and Valade..... directives from bbr?

It is really embarresing to know that you spent all of that time and money to come over to the States to race MiniMoto and have it ruined by J-Law. I would be VERY upset...

They would not have won anyways. J Law actually has given them more press then they would have gotten on their own. They should thank him and BBR for the oppurtunity in my opinion.
If they would have won I would have cared less. Now I kinda want to see who they are.

Yes but at least they would have been amused running with correctness in a beautiful event to prescind from the first or the last position of arrival.

Despite popular opinion, bad press doesn't do good... bad press does bad. yeah it gets your name out, but with a black dot next to it.

Mr. Lawrence was bad press.

Its pitbike racing not the supercross. You have every right to pull the same on him if he races in your Country or you folks come back next year and hes racing then.
I would be pumped that your rider got extra publicity and will be in a DVD giving you guy exposure. Believe me I think Luke was filming J Law not your rider. J Law just hooked you up in my opinion.

As a business I would soak the publicity and spin it to work in my favor for sales and make the best of it. If I was a politician I would turn it into a right and wrong and give away a chance to take make some money.

^^^ Doesn't matter if it is pitbikes and not supercross...

I don't think this is about good press, bad press or making money. It's about morals and the fact of good competition - win or lose. Maybe they didn't have a chance to win, or maybe they did. To have someone ride like that towards them was not right. I know "rubbins racin", but that was not "racin".

Take it with a grain of salt, this is just my .02

He is the one of the most talked about rider in the world in my opinion. Is he the mister goody good hell no but he is sellable.
Your problem is you do not see the big picture. MONEY! That is why people go into business to make money. Black eye for BBR I do not see that happenening. My kids friends all want to run his graphics on their bikes. Can you only imagine how much that would make you? Im sure more of his graphic sets are sold then all the ones you create in a year. I am not saying your not good at what you do. I have seen your work and some of it looks great.
Big Companies have something called investors and and they are paying people to find ways to create hipe and publicity to turn thing into dollars.
Take One Industries for instance. They had something happen with Dungey and J Law that could have been a disaster. They spun it to work in their favor and guess what. They sold out of most of their products for their great ability to use marketing to their maximum ability.
Like what I have to say or not I am compensated very well for marketing solutions.
