I know that there is a team of some sort out of Missouri... I don't know much about them at all, but I guess that would be somewhat close to you in IL, well maybe not so much Brighton, but maybe it's worth a try anyway. You might ask around to see if you can look one of their riders up on this site and hit some races they'll be attending.

An impressive resume if your interested in adding a rider for the 250A/450A classes... As far as mini racing goes, I've got nothing. I'm just trying to piece together a ride for the 10" 12" Pro classes in MO in Feb., and possibly if the wallet provides, MMSX 09' in Vegas. haha Last edited by mxracr20; 12-17-2008 at 05:44 PM. |

| Re: teams looking for riders? Exactly what I was trying to say for myself... I'm not sure big teams would take people like you and I seriously though, seeing as we have no definite mini racing credentials.

im looking for a ride for it aswell, i raced it this year in 10 youth, brought my bike over in parts on my gear bag from oz and it was seroius dramas so i am looking to ride for a team this year.. i raced an 88 it was teribley slow and had carby trouble but when i got a few good laps in my times were right up there with baggett and them. in the main i ended up 16th because i started on the second row coz of carby trouble in qualifying, pushed through the pack to 4th then cased that triple and the impact pushed my bars forward chopper style and was just out of control.. i was devoed.. haha

I am looking to and will be running all the pitbike races next year at joliet mx next year on my mod 110. They have a fast 50s race and a midsize class. Would love to join a team and have been riding pitbikes for a long time now. Just started practicing at the track last year and raced one race cause of the tornado on june 7th we had but my first race got third place in the main out of like 12 riders and placed higher than even the track owner on a built bbr 110. The heat I got 5th. So if anyone is looking for a rider hit me up and if anyone knows of more pitbike races in IL I will go. I will just keep going to local races and see if anyone sees what I can do that would be great. Would love to come to vegas and run even though I think that the vegas track needs some work since there are like no nice jumps at all. More of a flat small track with turns and bumps they call table tops. LOL Which is cool since its more of a backyard style track and is back to the roots of the sport but the funny thing is you see all these riders practicing for vegas on full out built mx tracks made for pitbikes with huge gaps. |
