| Round 6 Rocky Hill Update
Just spoke to Tony He is prepping the track all day today and grading it for the rain we are expecting on Saturday. He said that since it has been dry all week the track should absorb what rain we are looking to get - but he is prepping it just in case Mike Letendre (one of the Marshfield Track Builders, current leader in the Rockstar class, and one of the guys that worked with Tony last year and in May to clean up the track) has volunteered his time to come down tomorrow night and be on site at 6am to get to work prepping the track for us on race day - this is huge! Thank you Mike!!! The weather right now shows on and off rain tomorrow but clearing in the middle of the night, Sunday will be sunny and nice. Unfortunately this is typical for Rocky hill, but fortunately we have tons of practice getting the place dialed The new Track Layout Tony designed is sick - running reverse direction from this spring with even more jumps - it will be a blast. Mike will have over 3 hours to get our track dialed Sunday morning - which is more time than we had last year and this spring - so I am confident we should be in good shape. Anyone who has ever raced knows that practice might be a little muddy, but after that the track should be dialed and racing should be sweet. Sunday is going to be a great day! We have a lot of people pre registered and even more planning on coming through facebook, etc so I hope you all come and support YOUR series. I think Sunday is going to be solid - bring the BBQ, the tunes, and your cooler bc this is the last race this season at Rocky Hill - come join us and bring friends! My Mood: | Re: Round 6 Rocky Hill Update Well? Mr. Nobody, what did you think,I personally don't like having my abilities questioned! Everybody that races the series knows I am more than capable of running a machine. I think we saw some of the best racing,we've seen all year! If you saw what I did at 6am you would have turned around and gone home, I busted my ass for all of us. Thanks to everybody that came up to me and thanked me personally, I means a lot to know people understand how hard I worked, tried to make it a great day. Thanks to the Olcotts as well as the MOM staff for making it happen. Can't wait to see the pictures and videos.....should be good. Mike |

Mike, you worked the hell out of that track, i just finished importing the morning footage, and i think when people see the clips of you literally dumping buckets of water off the track and grooming it they'll appreciate exactly how hard you worked. I'm just pissed i didn't get to ride it, lol.

| Re: Round 6 Rocky Hill Update Super impressed. I love the part when a guy who paid $35 to ride the practice track asked how come our track was so much nicer than his. He said he was dodging puddles and rivers all day. Loved it! My hat comes off to everyone involved for making yet another amazing event. And to everyone who didnt show - thanks for the points suckers! |
