| Advice on buying new Ruckus
I want to get a Ruckus before spring. Right now a local dealer has 2 2009's for sale at MSRP. They are pretty firm on the price saying that don't have a problem getting rid of them. They seem like a hot item in some area's. Do you think if I wait until we get into winter, when sales are slow, they will come down a little on the price. Or are all dealers getting retail. Gary |

i dont think they have problems selling them anywher at anytime. i know lots of people that have them and i see lots of people riding them. right now they are just a hot item and since rob and big got some a while ago they got more popular cause they were on tv. i think its gonna be hard to get them to come down on price unless you know someone. the cheaper they give it to you the less commission they are making so if they can sell it for full price to someone else thers no reason to hook you up if they dont know you |

I found a place in Ohio selling them for $100 under MSRP, but it's a 500 mile round trip. Hard to justify a day of my time and $50-$60 in gas to save a little bit. Looking like I will end up buying one local for retail. Good thing is that I don't really need it till spring, so maybe Honda will have some kind of special offer by then. You would think that Honda would try and run some type of promo. over the winter to help with their off-season sales. Gary |
