| Honda Cub/EZ90 info needed
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, so mods move if needed. I currently have a modded Yamaha Zuma pit scooter, but a friend called me and offered to sell me his 2 Honda EZ90's(1994 & 1996). I know very little about this model bike, but I have always wanted one. Does anyone have an idea of what they are worth? The 1996 is in VG shape(9 out of 10) and the 94 is also VG but needs an ignition switch and rear fender(8 out of 10). Are there any aftermarket parts available for these bikes? Pipes, carbs, clutches????? My ZUma has a 5-port 70cc cylinder, carb, reeds, pipe, clutch, CDI, coil and everything else I could find for it. It is an honest 60mph scooter that wheelies at will. I don't want to buy one and be disappointed by its performance even though its only the pit run-around bike. Any and all information about these bikes is greatly appreciated. Dan P.S. I can buy the pair for $3600($2000 for the '96 and $1600 for the '94 if I buy both) |

| Re: Honda Cub/EZ90 info needed if they were mint they would bring a nice penny. but ..on an 8-10 bike 5-6 hundred, and on a 9-10 bike maybe a 1000.00 ... there are no aftermarket parts available for the bikes, they top out at around 35-40. I have 3 of them ... they are bullett proof 2-stroke bikes ... definitely not worth the $3600.00 for the pair ... more like $2000.00 at the max /// I just sold a runing frame with engine and all plastics for $500.00 ... the other 3 I have are going no where ... we trail ride the hell outta them ... my finace'. my 8 year old and myself ... my 3 year old rides a tri-zinger 60 3-wheeler ... the only performace things you can do is shave the head, bore the cylinder, take the muffler off the bottom ... they wheelie easy off nottom as they have alot of torque, but thats it ... they are a blast to ride tho ... and in europe there is a cult following for these bikes ... buy them and part them out on ebay and ship the parts to europe ... make a nice dime ... if it were me ... $2g's is all I would go ... in Arkansas they would sell for 5-6 hunderd dollars each ... last one I bought I paid $75.00 for ... and it started on the first kick, and started on the battery after I installed a new $65.00 battery ... the battery is a dry cell maintence free battery so they ain;t cheap .... keep in mind that this is my .02 cents worth ... |
