Wreck's 03 Ruckus Build up

I bought this a couple weeks ago when I sold my 50. So far I have added the Chase Harper bag plus the following free mods.

Trimmed rear duckbill
Trimmed tail light bracket cover plastic
Put the front signals on the rear (they're shorter)
Removed the stock front signal mounts
Moved front signals down to the stock reflector locations
Removed extensions from the rear signals when I moved them up front
Moved horn insid the battery box behind the vent
Moved speedo into the battery box
moved turn indicator into the battery box
Put "binding posts" into the 2 stock holes in the controls to plug them
Added thumb screw die to open tool kit door
Added garage door opener to the tool kit door.

Paint and some sort of heart transplant are the next things on the list.

I put gas in this the day I got it and haven't even thought about it since.

Re: Wreck's 03 Ruckus Build up

fitment would be tough but a set of pro-tapers or something would look badass on any ruckus

Tapers will fit NP. They make clamps. I want to keep a semi-stock look and save the $$$ for a heart transplant

Re: Wreck's 03 Ruckus Build up

Shortened up the tail light mount

Had the pullback taken out of the stock bars for a bit more room

Re: Wreck's 03 Ruckus Build up

It looks a little strange with just one mirror but I understand cause my big bike only has the left mirror. Looking good, love the red with the red frame.

Thumbs up Re: Wreck's 03 Ruckus Build up

very tastefully modded.

I like how it still has it's original character, but more refined.

I'd say leave it like it is, but we both know thats hard to do.

That's the look I'm going for. Kind of a head scratcher where you look at it and think "it looks stock but something is different"

I plan to switch out the battery box to a black one, I think it will accent the red pipes that are the ruckus better.
