108cc stroker motor with the stock exhaust

i am trying to decide if i should go ahead and spend the extra money and get the tb 108 stroker kit. the only thing is half the time i am riding places that i need my bike to be quiet. i have an aftermarket exhaust and a stock so i would be able to swap them out, but will the stroker kit even run on the stock exhaust with me jetting it properly of course. i understand i will see a loss in power but i will only run the stock exhaust when i am at places where i need it. any input is greatly appreciated.

A couple sizes in main jet should do it. Maybe a needle notch. Tune it for both, and write down your settings, or better yet, pick up a cheap carb to run with the stock pipe. 10 minute change-over.

Still gonna be more fun than having a loud pipe and pushing it around the track...

what fire said, i would get a 22mm carb jetted properly so your not trying to flow too much air through that exhaust, then at the track switch back your pipe and carb and be good

Re: 108cc stroker motor with the stock exhaust

I dunno I let my friend use my old T-4 on his stock head/jug cheater kit and that thing sounded like a big block with straight pipes. But the spark arrester was out of it... but I can imagine a stroker no matter what will be loud as all hell.
