I have been experiencing some issues on my CRF50. Its a 2006 and from what I understand the needle jet on that year is not adjustable. My bike at this time is bogging itself out. It seems that I need to adjust the pin on the needle jet. When I went to do this I found out there is no adjustable pin on my bike.

So my question is could people confirm this? Is the 2006 not adjustable and is that how they made them for that year? Why the Hell Would honda pull that?

I don't know why but it's the same thing on my 06, I was like "WTF". I just went to my local honda shop and ordered the 05 needle clip assembly. And I dremelled out a slot on the air adjuster screw.

Big Daddy thats exactly what I did too.. I ordered an 05 needle clip yesterday cause I was told those are adjustable with 3 notches. Is that correct? When you got the 05 needle does it have the notches for adjustment.

I did the same thing to the air screw. Dremeled it to have a screw notch. I was pissed when i saw it to be honest with you. **** set up right there!!

Yeah the 05 needle has the notches

They do that kind of stuff for EPA regulations. They dont want you messing with it.

That I dont know. They most likley changed carb vendors for that year.

The '07 through '09 also have the same jet needle set.
