69mm tall cylinder (114 if you go with trail bikes) cam chain and studs and you would be set.

All im basically looking to do is build up a Takegawa 124, but i dont exactly have all the cash to do it all at once so what im thinking of doing is building up the bottom end first, then whenever i have the cash.. swap out the TB117 cylinder and head for a Takegawa cylinder and head.

RcWannabe, would i have to buy a (69mm) cylinder from TB?? I dont see one on theyre website, and i dont see where your getting 114 from?

Your cases are already bored for a 54mm bore, so you will be at 124. DrATV has the 54x69mm tall jug for $70, less than everyone else. Cometic will make a 6mm spacer to save the jug you already have, for about $25. I've made some too, easy. Get the studs and +2 cam chain at DrATV, maybe their Mega cam/Z40 and some Honda ATC125M valve springs too. All you'll have to swap later is head and piston. You might look at a Lifan BVH instead of a Tak or Kitaco. With a mild port cleanup, it's a pretty decent 27/23 head.

If you wanted the cylinder from tb you would use the cylinder from their 114 kit
