70 swinger with 50 wheel

i've started to piece together my next build, and i've picked up a china 50 frame, a stock 50 rear shock, and a stock 70 swinger. i know that i will have to modify the swinger to work with 50 style hub and brakes, but is there any other fitment issues i have to worry about? i will be putting a HD spring on the shock, but what spacers do i use on the axle? 70, 50, or should i custom make them? will the shock bolt up with no issues? and the pivot?

The 50 axle and spacers will work fine, you will need a 70 or extended brake rod, and im shure the shock will bolt up no problems, pivot i wouldnt know.

im not worried about the brake rod for now, its going to have a handbake set up, and possibly a foot brake in the future. its going to be a slow, budget build

HD spring dont work very well on a stock swingarm once you ad some extra leverage it will be way too soft

^^^I briefly had my stock shock w/ HD spring on when I put on my +2 swingarm, and it was almost bottomed out just when sitting on it...and I only weigh 150. You'll definitely want something aftermarket
