Any experience with these 20 dollar EBAY plastics???

i would imagine they would bolt up and look good considering they are brand new, but the price is a pretty cheap compared to some of the better known brands out there. anybody have anything positive or negative to say about these or any of the other cheap plastic kits you can find online...? thanks

Re: Any experience with these 20 dollar EBAY plastics???

they r very brittle usually, and sometimes they dont fit right or even dont have holes drilled in the tabs so they can blame a bad fit on u. but I have had mixed experiences and if u have to order 2 or even 3 sets to get a good pair of plastics its usually is still cheaper then buying name brand and then u have spare fenders and wutnot....

Re: Any experience with these 20 dollar EBAY plastics???

I bought a set to put on a bike I sold. They seemed stiffer but decent. They fit on good and the graphics I bought went on nice. I'll buy another set for my bike now when I get some other things fixed.

Thats the skyteam with black plastics and etnies graphics.

yeah i have a set on right now...the gas tank mount was a real tight fit..the rear shrouds had to be zip tied together, but very durable :P

there pretty good for the money, only thing ive broken is my back fender. which isn't to blame on the plastics since my friend kinda crashed it into his shed.. haha the only thing ive noticed is that they've faded a little bit, but not too bad. i would say try them out.

here the kit like a year old, the rear number plates r kinda weird tho they both bulge out like its set up for dual mufflers. kinda looks like a space shuttle to me.

man that pipe was ugly thats the old old FMF power core 4 and yeah it got snapped off hangong out that far....

Re: Any experience with these 20 dollar EBAY plastics???

I bought some ebay plastiics for my klx110 for 35 dollars and they've been decent. They do require a little bit of tweaking though, I had to drill two more holes to mount my front fender, and the plastics require a little coaxing to line up with the mounting holes.

BLACK PLASTIC KIT HONDA CRF XR XR50 CRF50 50 - BLK PS02:eBay Motors (item 170371296709 end time Nov-09-09 1742 PST)

I have a black set from that auction and highly recommend. They fit nice and no fitment issues at all. Looks stock and now need some graphics! Can't beat $28 shipped either!!

Re: Any experience with these 20 dollar EBAY plastics???

my ebay white plastics stayed whiter then the stock fork guards, it was pretty straight out of the box.

but even my UFO plastics needed some work to b "right". most bolt ons need a lil tweaking.

NEVER BUY THE CARBON FIBER EBAY PLASTICS! they chip off to the black base way too easy and the finish cracks when they flex @ all.

Re: Any experience with these 20 dollar EBAY plastics???

for the money theyre perfect ...they are all i buy...plastics take the worst beating so why spend the money on name brands...its not like they will make you ride better....get the white ones or the black..those dont fade and look sick with graphics...
