| Bar Kit Height
How is everyone? I've been out of pitbikes and MX for going on five years this summer. I've decided I want to get back into it and am looking to buy a pitbike (preferably a CRF50) within the next couple of months. I've never owned a XR/CRF before; I've always had midsizes as pitbikes. I'm not sure why I'm leaning so much towards a CRF. There's just something I like more about them...not sure what. I'm just worried about the CRF being too small. I'm not an overly large guy. I'm around 170lbs at 6'0" tall. I had a TTR90 at one point, and I liked the size of that bike. If it isn't any trouble for all you guys with your 50s, (preferably guys with +1 fork legs/stiff springs, big bar kit, big seat, and +2 swingarms) would you mind posting the height of your grips from the ground and the height of your seat from the ground? It would definitely help me Thanks, Brian |

I don't have a measurement for you, sorry. But I do have a pic of what my bike used to look like with that exact set-up for you. And by the way, I am 5'10" & 160lbs., this is a very fun set-up to ride. |

hey mate im 6ft4" around 215lb ive had alot of set ups on fiddys right now i have a pro taper bar mount it has alot of adjustment so you wont hit your knees, i also run the pro taper bmx style bars as the SE ones have a cross bar mount that i would always hit my knee on!!! +1 forks is a must or aftermarket forks depending on what kinda bike you want? seeing as your tall your gonna be sitting right at the back of the seat so your need a +2 swingarm and a after market shock. wide pegs are a must too! as is a longer shifter hope this helps you out Hmm just thought that switching to a +1 frame made alot of difference with leg room but i have a stock frame right now!
