My Mood: | Brand X Mini forks
Anyone have experience with these forks? Not looking to race or ride of cliffs with these forks, just want something that wont break the bank and something thats reliable. They look/seem to be a good set for the money, oil filled and set up for the drum brakes. Any feedback would be appreciated.

No doubt, gonna try them for sure, already ordered. Whats the easiest way to drain the oil in forks and what oils are reccommended as well? Wanted to beef up the oil before breaking them in.

Just make sure that you put in the same amount that you take out. I would like a review on these after. As I have another bike that I am debating buying the complete Brand X kit from Tbolt with the swinger and shock included. |

I have the Brand X ( got a good deal on them) and they dont feel bad at all. I have done some mild jumping and some major crashing and they have held up pretty well. I plan on making the mx track bigger next summer so will have more air under the tires so it will be the make or break of these forks. |

I had a set on mine and they were great for trail riding and stuff, but one day i decided to kind of jump off the side of a creek bed (it was about a 6 foot drop) and when I landed, well to say the least it was the end of my brand x minis forks. I now have 50 caliber forks (which are pretty much the same as the bbr forks) and I've done the same drop with no problems. But like you said, your just doing light riding on them so they are great for the money.

Bolted the forks on yesterday and they feel good, real plush soft feel. Way beeter than the stock uppers w/ +1s and HD springs. We will see how long they last, but for now they feel real gooood.

how much of a difference would 15wt and 30wt be? the forks feel pretty soft as of now, would like them to be a little stiffer.
