Kitaco 124SE

Hopefully...someone can help me out here. I've been out of the MX and pitbike scene for 4 years, so bear with me. I just bought a Reeg MX bike to get myself back on a bike. The seller told me the engine is a Kitaco 124SE engine. I'm wondering what the deal is with how Kitaco stamped the 124SE HEADS. I have seen some people say their engine is a Kitaco 124SE that has "K SE" stamped on the head fin right above the spark plug. I've also seen people say their engine is a Kitaco 124SE with "Kitaco 1123" stamped on the head fin right above the spark plug. Are the two different stampings indicators of two different 124 heads, or am I just looking too far into the details? I'm really curious to know the differences, if any...because the bike I bought has the "Kitaco 1123" stamped head. If anyone here knows anything about these two different stamping, I'd really appreciate it if you will fill me in.

Here's an illustration to show the area where the stamping is on the head. This is not my engine, just a quick picture I found to show where the stamping I'm talking about is located.

Thanks!

Re: Kitaco 124SE

Both of my SE heads say "K SE". Perhaps some of the early SE heads had 1123 stamped on them? Both of mine were purchased new within the past 3 years and have the 27/23mm valves.

Re: Kitaco 124SE

Thank you two. Aside from the "K SE" and "Kitaco 1123" possible stamping, I'd assume the actual engines are identical. I'm just curious about the "K SE" and "Kitaco 1123" stampings. They must mean something, but I'm not aware of it if they do.

Anyone else have anything to add?
