Re: KLX triples on a Honda frame?

that would be an awesome upgrade for a 50 but converting the wheel to a 12in could get expensive.

Re: KLX triples on a Honda frame?

Nah, I'm gonna run an 8" on my Z. In a top-secret experimental fashion, I now have a set of KLX forks that have been shortened to 2" over the stock Z front end. A little hub and spacer work, and that will be a breeze. It's the stem... I can do it, no doubt, but if there's a method that doesn't require me re-inventing the invented, I'm all for hearing it. I think I'm gonna call the setup FP3.5's. 30mm tubes and 3.5" of oil damped travel should help me jump off the curb without rattling my dentures out.

And... I've had three 117's in that Xtreme roller this week, for run-in testing and a little cruise through the gears.

Re: KLX triples on a Honda frame?

This thread needs a pic...
My crf50 has klx110 forks and triple with a 50 stem pressed in, I bought it this way though. I like the way it handles.
