BUMP ive seen stock klx 110 forks on a 50 in a pic on here but cant find it anymore. whos done this? i have a complete set of stock 110 forks and tripples that i want on my 50 but dont know how to get them to fit.. can i just press the 50 stem in and bolt them up? |

that would be an awesome upgrade for a 50 but converting the wheel to a 12in could get expensive.

Nah, I'm gonna run an 8" on my Z. In a top-secret experimental fashion, I now have a set of KLX forks that have been shortened to 2" over the stock Z front end. A little hub and spacer work, and that will be a breeze. It's the stem... I can do it, no doubt, but if there's a method that doesn't require me re-inventing the invented, I'm all for hearing it. I think I'm gonna call the setup FP3.5's. 30mm tubes and 3.5" of oil damped travel should help me jump off the curb without rattling my dentures out.

And... I've had three 117's in that Xtreme roller this week, for run-in testing and a little cruise through the gears.
