I had this up before the server switch but it was lost in the transfer. This is not a thread to show off pictures. This is a step by step guide on how to make pictures show up correctly in the forum. Step 1: Upload the picture onto the internet on one of the various picture websites or even PlanetMinis. Once the picture is on the net you can begin. If the picture is not on an open server then it won't show up. Step 2: Find the picture and right click on it. This box should show up then click properties... ![]() ![]() Step 3: Once the properties box opens highlight and copy the pictures web address (URL)... ![]() ![]() Step 4: Paste the URL in the reply box and include an [img] in front of the URL and a [/img] behind the URL. No spaces are used. ![]() ![]() Step 5: Use the preview button to see if everything comes up correctly ![]() ![]() Step 6: If the picture is not showing up then you have a problem and need to go back over it. The preview button can be used as many times as needed to get everything to show up right. The most common mistakes are having spaces in the URL between the [img] and [/img] or just not including them. Some websites don't let you link pictures to another site so make sure the site used to upload picture allows you to use that function. Step 7: Once everything looks right in the preview area you can submit the post. If for some reason it didn't work right you can edit that post without making another.

You can also right click an image and choose copy link location, then paste in between the image tags. Just a few less steps... I prefer the site linked below, for quick image hosting. No sign up, no nothing. It also gives you the image ready to go with image tags added. Use the line titled BB for forum use...
