Random Masters of Mini Update

Just a friendly heads up, make sure your front number plate has been de-stickered before arriving at the Marshfield Fair for round 1 of the Masters of Mini series. The backgrounds will be handed out at the event, NOT mailed to you. I suggest waiting until AFTER you carefully apply the background to start pounding energy drinks so you're not shaking violently gluing it to everything other than your bike.

Welcome all to the opening round of the 2006 Transworld Masters of Mini!

Here is some info to make your day go easier when coming to the Marshfield round of MoM on Tuesday August 22nd – only 4 days away… Remember – this is at a Fair, so there will be lots of people who have no idea there is a race going on – please be courteous and friendly – make them want us back!

Fairgrounds open 12 noon
Overnight camping available Tues-Wed
Parking is going to be tight – so get there early
You will have to pay the fair gate fee (usually $7- to get in, but make sure you ask for a wrist band to get back in free for Wed to watch the Supercross

Staging will be key to the event running smoothly. Because we are on a pretty tight schedule at Marshfield (have to be done by 9:30) and we want to get you all the most laps we can, we are asking everyone to please be ready for your moto and in staging 2 motos before yours. (I will not hold the motos and walk around the pits calling your name like I am looking for my lost puppy this year – yes our little series is finally growing up, awe…) This will ensure we are sending race after race so that we move efficiently.

Top 10 in the Modified and Unlimited Classes will qualify for racing Wed in front of 8000 screaming rednecks – bring your flannel Thor gear! This is a bonus round, no extra charge. All series points and prizes will be awarded for Tuesday Nights racing. Wed is just a way to give back more racing to my diehard guys and say thanks for blowing off work and supporting your MoM

ANNOUNCEMENT - We are sending the series overall winner in the Modified and Unlimited classes to compete in the Mini Moto SX in Las Vegas in May – more info to follow! You must have a Transworld Sheild Sticker on your front fender to qualify for points – we will supply them for you at signup
