Personally, I would go with the TB 117. Of course, I havent had either of the setups you mention, so I cant comment on them. but it seems like 95cc vs. 117, the 117 would have more power not to mention a butt load more bottom end than a 95. Plus TB quality is top notch. JMO

I had a Takegawa 95cc Superhead with a TB Manual Clutch with Billet Housing, Kitaco IRK. And that thing RIPPED. I had it in a cradle frame with a +4 swingarm and Zokes. Heres a Pic.

We have a 106 Superhead, and it will tear the azz outta a TB motor. Cripple it with a stock crank and the 117 might hang. You can toss a TB stroker with the Tak topend and have a less-pricey-than-Tak 117.

Re: takegawa 95cc superhead V tb117

Id be leaning towards the 95cc +R over the 117cc
Why?

I had and 88r stage with inner rotor and loved it, then i pulled it apart after about a year and went for 124+R
My set up was bbr frame stratos forks and personaly it was way to fast for a minibike track i had to ride motocross tracks, it ripped but i wish id gone 88cc or 95cc
