Re: Tire pressure recommendations

If your motor has any kind of power your going to need a rim lock to run pressures that low.

Re: Tire pressure recommendations

With out the rim lock I had to run 25-30psi to keep from ripping the stem off. With the rim lock I went down to 18-22psi.

Cool thanx dude. I guess I'll run about 30 for the dirt.

Anyone know what I should run on the street?

Re: Tire pressure recommendations

If you don't have rim locks you should and the tire pressures 1st listed are what I run in all my off road bikes.

Re: Tire pressure recommendations

I find anything above 20psi without a rim lock and I have no issues. Mess around from there and find what you like.

In big bikes I run 12psi for normal pack 14psi for hard. Anything in this range on pit bikes I tear stems. I have had no issues when I went to 20psi.

Re: Tire pressure recommendations

Thanks guys, what does lowering air pressure do as opposed to running it higher?
