Didn't take you long to bore that engine! haha

I think that the 26mm carb is gonna be way too big for that setup. I was told that my 26mm was too big for my 124 motor. You may have a hard time getting that jetted.

regular unleaded, 20-50w, 20mm/jetted correctly, all around gearing 15/35.

People have to lose that bigger is better mind set. 20/22mm jetted right will be perfect. I pick up motors or repair them and constantly see huge jets and carbs on them. Plugs caked with carbon and pistons with a 1/4" pancake on top of them.

As Johnny Rotten once said, "Stupid Americans, buy my records!"

Re: Trail Bikes fuel and oil recommendations

i saw a deal on a mikuni 22mm for like $38.... Would this be a better option than the 26mm and would it bolt right up with the 108cc intake that the kit comes with???

Re: Trail Bikes fuel and oil recommendations

That is a crappy China copy Mikuni. Buy yourself either a TB 20mm or if you prefer a name brand, TB's real Keihen 20mm and be done with it. Jet it up and ride.

Re: Trail Bikes fuel and oil recommendations

no its the same amount of oil unless you have an oil cooler. then fill up the oil cooler before you install it and use the regular amount of oil in the engine itself and you should be good.

i used an ebay mikuni 24mm or 26mm carb on my tb108 kit and it ran fine. just had to be rejetted, was kinda a pain in the ass to get jets for. i think it used vm28 jets tho

Re: Trail Bikes fuel and oil recommendations

the biggest headache on any bike can be the jetting, dont cheap out, go with a good solid carb.
