I just took apart my VM26 as my bike was running a bit weird. I noticed there is no little seal on the end of the float needle like there is on any other carb I take apart. Is there supposed to be one on there?

Im pretty sure the VM26 needles are all metal. Ive seen quite a few just metal (no rubber tips).

Don't think there's any seal on your needle on the real mikuni carbs, all metal.

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure. Got er' all clean and she's runnin good, for now that is.
