My Mood: | VP race gas
Well I picked up an "empty" barrell of VO and the southwick nationals, and It actually had about 2 gallons left in it ahah. So I decided to run it in my stock 50. Just wondering if this will screw anything up??

Just make sure you empty the carb and run the bike out of gas when your done.. Even though the newer stuff isnt supposed to corrode as much, its still not a bad idea to empty it out. Itll also keep the piston/combustion chamber cleaner... less carbon build up Enjoy the smell |

haha. I usually mix it 50/50 to make it last longer. It was at the Pro circuit Kawasaki's pit so It's probably the HIGH octane stuff. It came out clear so its definately more than 105 octane. VP red is 105.

i wouldnt do it if i were you. if its a stock 50, it will burn ur rings up faster than a cupcake in an obease meeting. lol, seriosly tho, it wont be very good for your motor

i think its ok to run in a high compression motor you would have to rejet your carb i would guess i use to run 98 octain shell in my cr250 and crf50(88Rstage) |

they only time i would ever run race gas would be on a 12:1 or higher motor a YFZ i had was 13.5:a comp and it didnt run worth a damn when i didnt run U4.2 from vp but a stock motor all your doin is wastin cash and risking some engine damage
