Porting is when the intake, and exhaust passages in the head are opened up and reshaped to allow more air/fuel mixture to flow more efficiently. Also normally the valve seats are ground and reshaped to allow a better more consistent seal of the valves (intake, and exhaust) to the head. Porting = More Power!!! |

it is exactly what rlm996 said it is. and AHP does a hella good job. especially for 95 bucks, you cant beat it. maybe ask mark about it, he is AHPminis on here |

I gotta guy who does a hell of a good job too,Matt Crown,he's the guy that builds Pastrana's shizza so i know he's doing it right,he may cost a bit more but then again,you get what you pay for.......

Keep in mind that not all people you send your head to will actually port it. Some just charge less and clean up the head for you. Hell I cant wait to get my new head thats been ported not just "cleaned up" |
